Cleveland Way

A  change from cycling for the three brothers this year we decided to walk the Cleveland way, in true style we decide to do it in sections.

Unfortunately due to other commitments we still have it to complete and did not manage in the year as intended.

Here are a few pictures of some of the magnificent views on the route

Our second day start at the top of  Sutton Bank

Great place for the glider flying club, we walked right round it

The views from the far side of the airport

The White Horse, in the foreground with the car park at the bottom

The famous White Horse of Kilburn

The views across the surrounding area is spectacular

The view go on forever

The moors are scattered with stone cairns

Karen and Colin had a little walking holiday in the lakes later in the year.
The lake district never fails to deliver the wow factor.

Water tumbling down a stream

A scenic waterfall

We find a red squirrel playing on a tree

Red squirrel seems as curious about us as we are about them.

Pity we only had our phones and not the SLR with its powerful zoom
to photograph this bird of prey.
